A 31-year-old man was arrested on Thursday (15 February) following an accident involving a prime mover along Jurong Town Hall Road in the direction of the Ayer Rajah Expressway.
According to a police news release, the man is due to be charged with murder on Saturday.
The suspect was one of a group of three men – aged 18 to 43 – involved in the accident, which the police said they were alerted to at 5.47pm. All three were subsequently conveyed to the National University Hospital (NUH).
The 43-year-old man is believed to have sustained injuries to the face and chest, and was later pronounced dead at NUH at 7.46pm. Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident resulted from a dispute between the deceased and the suspect, said the release.
