Man arrested for allegedly vandalising six cars in Orchard area

A 55-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly vandalising six cars near Orchard Road.

The police were informed on 23 March that the cars parked along Exeter Road had been splashed with paint remover, causing the paint of the cars to peel off.

After investigations and with the aid of CCTV footages, the man was arrested along Kent Road on Monday (18 September).

Any person who is convicted of vandalism faces a jail term of up to three years or a maximum fine of $2,000, and caning of between three and eight strokes.
