Manchester City have been dealt an injury worry ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal after Kevin De Bruyne was replaced at half-time against Inter Milan.

The playmaker appeared to pick up a knock just before the break when attempting to round goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

De Bruyne looked to have come off worse after the ball was deflected out for a corner and knelt down to his knees, clutching what appeared to be his groin.

While the 33-year-old tried to continue after treatment from the physios, De Bruyne did not emerge after the interval and was replaced by Ilkay Gundogan.

City host the Gunners on Sunday, looking for their first win against Mikel Arteta’s side since April 2023.

While Pep Guardiola’s side have won all four of their Premier League games thus far and sit top of the table as a result, three points for the Gunners would send them top.
