Man dead after being hit by bus in downtown Guelph
Guelph police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a city bus in the downtown area.
The 49-year-old man from Fergus was crossing Wyndham Street when the bus driver drove into him.
Police say emergency services arrived on scene at 1:37 p.m at the intersection of Wyndham Street North and Carden Street.
They pulled him out alive from under the bus, but he died a short time later.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Guelph Police Traffic Unit.
