At least one person has been questioned by police over his alleged involvement in a protest on an MRT train earlier this month.

According to media reports, activist Sean Francis Han was spotted at the Police Cantonment Complex at around 9:30am on 12 June.

A police report was lodged over the alleged protest that occurred on an MRT train on 3 June.

In the photos, blindfolded activists are seen holding up the book “1987: Singapore’s Marxist Conspiracy 30 years on”. The book was launched on 22 May this year.

In May 1987, authorities carried out Operation Spectrum and detained 22 people under the Internal Security Act for their alleged involvement in a Marxist conspiracy to overthrow the government.
