Manchester United XI vs Leeds: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Marcel Sabitzer is handed a first Manchester United start against Leeds tonight, while Diogo Dalot also starts.

The Bayern Munich loanee was the natural choice to partner Fred in Erik ten Hag’s midfield with Casemiro banned for three games after a red card for grabbing Will Hughes around the throat on the weekend.

Christian Eriksen was already ruled out until late April with an ankle injury and Scott McTominay has been missing for the the last three matches due to an unspecified issue. Donny van de Beek is another long-term absentee.

Sabitzer made his debut off the bench late on in the win over Crystal Palace and should now start in the rearranged game against Leeds.

Elsewhere, Antony misses out due to a leg injury.

Ten Hag said: “I don’t think it is a long time [out] but we have to see how it develops in the coming days. It is in his leg, but I can’t specify. You will understand that.”

Anthony Martial is confirmed to be ruled out once again after an injury setback last week.

Jadon Sancho was on the bench against Palace and was not expected to be fit for his first start since before the World Cup as he rebuilds match sharpness.
