Mandatory Evacuations Ordered as Wildfire Burns Near Colorado's Estes Park

Mandatory evacuations were ordered for the west side of Estes Park, Colorado, on Thursday, October 22, as the East Troublesome Fire spread over into Rocky Mountain National Park.

Town officials said all routes into Estes Park had been closed. Rocky Mountain National Park was also closed, and park officials warned that air quality was “hazardous.”
