Maria Ozawa backing Indonesia in football clash with Singapore
Former porn actress Maria Ozawa is supporting Indonesia’s national football team at the SEA Games in the Philippines and has promised to turn up at all of the team’s matches for the tournament.
This includes Indonesia’s clash with Singapore at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on Thursday (28 November) night.
The 33-year-old Japanese-Canadian has posted numerous videos of herself dressed in an Indonesian team jersey on her Instagram account and professing her support for the team. In one video, the actress-model is seen kissing an Indonesian flag.
Ozawa, who now resides in the Philippines, backed the Indonesians in their match against Thailand on Tuesday afternoon. Numerous Indonesian media outlets picked up on her attendance at the match, which Indonesia won 2-0.
In one video posted on the sportOne YouTube channel she explained her support for the team during the half-time break of the match against Thailand.
“I (am) very into Indonesia. I hope they will win. And I will be cheering (them) till the last game,” she told the sportOne reporter.
