Marina Bay Sands will be celebrating the release of upcoming movie “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” with a special light and water show themed after the popular sci-fi franchise. Members of the public can look out for the spectacle on Saturday (25 November) at 8.30pm.
According to a media release on Friday (17 November), the light show will consist of lasers and water movements as well as a film score from the movie.
In conjunction with the celebration of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”, which will be out in Singapore on 14 December, MBS has also invited actress Kelly Marie Tran to grace the event. She plays Rose Tico in the upcoming movie.
The Star Wars newcomer, along with MBS president and CEO George Tanasijevich, will be attending the light-up. If you missed out on the show, there’s a second opportunity scheduled on 15 Dec at 8.30pm.
