Marisa Tomei to join Robert De Niro in 'War With Grandpa'

Marisa Tomei is in talks to join Robert De Niro in "The War With Grandpa," reports Deadline.

The actress would also join Christopher Walken and Eugene Levy for the movie, which is based on the book by Robert Kimmel Smith.

The film tells the story of a young boy who reluctantly has to give up his bedroom when his grandpa (De Niro) moves in.

Although he loves his grandfather, he wants his room back, and so he sets out on a mission to drive out grandpa with a series of pranks. However he soon finds out the old man can give as good as he gets.

If confirmed Tomei would star as De Niro's daughter (and the boy's mother).

The actress will soon be seen in "Spider-Man: Homecoming."
