Marks & Spencer is a supermarket synonymous with the festive season.

It’s Christmas food line is second to none: we’ve already got our eye on the new Christmas-themed Colin the Caterpillar cake and a few cans of M&S’ Christmas Gin & Tonic.

And just when we thought they couldn’t impress us any more, the British brand has released a jumper that has us laughing every time we look at it.

The "This is not just any Christmas jumper..." is a clever play on the supermarket’s “This Is Not Just Food” adverts, which have used the same catchy phrasing for over a decade.

The burgundy pure-cotton men’s novelty jumper boasts a classic crew neck with ribbed trims and - though we can’t call it a wardrobe essential - we are going to call it a festive must-have as it’s only £19.50.

It’s ideal if you’re bored of the usual range of festive cosy-wear, or if you don’t want to splash out this year.

It’s available in sizes XS to 4XL, or in a long version from M to 4XL.

We know that there’s unlikely going to be Christmas jumper day in the office this year, but you just know that someone will suggest it over Zoom, so it pays to be prepared.

Plus, we could all do with another reason to smile right now, so you’re sure to be the most popular person at the digital Christmas party.
