ITV's reality show The Masked Singer returned for more mysterious performances tonight (January 25), and now we know the identity of yet another famous contestant.

Hidden deep within the Daisy costume, 'Milkshake' and 'Millionaire' singer Kelis was confirmed to be the latest eliminated star, after battling it out with Monster in the bottom two.

Taking off her giant flower head in front of the studio audience, Kelis was asked by presenter Joel Dommett why she'd decided to join the show.

"Well people have just been telling me my voice was distinct my whole career, you know, so I was like 'Let's see how distinct it is'," she said.

Kelis' voice was so distinct in judge Rita Ora's eyes that she in fact guessed her identity before the American singer was unmasked.

Meanwhile, fellow judge Jonathan Ross was under the spotlight during tonight's transmission, after he made a controversial guess towards Daisy's identity earlier in the episode.

Pondering whether it could've been Natalie Cole (daughter of Nat King Cole) under the mask, what Jonathan clearly didn't consider was that she actually passed away back in 2015.

The internet wasn't best pleased.

The Masked Singer returns next Saturday (February 1) on ITV at 7pm.
