Massive jams after lorry overturns near TPE entrance
An overturned lorry blocked off the Punngol Road entrance to the Tampines Expressway (TPE) on Tuesday afternoon (2 January).
The overturned vehicle left the road impassable, causing heavy traffic jams.

In response to queries from Yahoo News Singapore, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said that it was alerted at 2.40pm to an incident at the Punggol Road entrance of the TPE, heading towards the Seletar Expressway (SLE).
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, where paramedics assessed the van’s driver and found him to be uninjured.
According to footage from LTA’s One Motoring website, the jam had cleared by 4.18pm.
