Matteo Guidicelli avoids love scene to respect girlfriend

The actor denies that Sarah Geronimo was jealous, and stressed he decided himself not to do such a scene

18 Jan - Matteo Guidicelli has denied that the only reason for him to decline any intimate scenes in his new movie with ex-girlfriend Alex Godinez was to avoid any issue with current squeeze, Sarah Geronimo.

As reported on Push, the actor, whose movie, "Across the Crescent Moon" is set to be released on 25 January, stated that his decision was as a sign of respect for Geronimo and based on his own belief as well.

"I said yes to everything except the love scene. It was done in different ways to implement the love scene, but we didn't have to actually do the scene," said Guidicelli.

"It's not that I can't. Of course, I also respect my girlfriend, but it's a thin line. This is my belief and I respect her. I also thought that it could be done in different ways," he added.

He denied that Geronimo was jealous of Godinez and that the pop princess was okay with it when he first mentioned it to her.

"Alex is actually a last minute addition. There was already another actress but she could not push through with the project. They were looking for a replacement, and she just came in right away," said Guidicelli.

He added that Godinez is also in her own relationship now, and that her new boyfriend was as accepting with the whole thing as Geronimo is.
