After a blockbuster show last weekend that saw multiple records fall, ONE Championship returned with ONE: UNBREAKABLE II, a previously recorded event that aired on Friday, 29 January.

In the headlining fight, heavyweight star Mauro “The Hammer” Cerilli nailed a second-round TKO finish of promotional newcomer Abdulbasir “Dagestan Machine” Vagabov.

Vagabov put the pressure on early, as he attempted to set up takedowns with his punches. Cerilli, however, defended well and kept the bout standing, where he punished his foe with thumping jabs and rights from the outside.

“The Hammer” then sent Vagabov to the canvas with a low kick in the second round before jumping in for the ground-and-pound finish.

Ushering in that main event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium was a flyweight clash between divisional debutant Daichi Takenaka and Ivanildo “Monstrinho” Delfino.

Takenaka had already proven his worth at bantamweight, but he looked downright nasty at flyweight.

The Japanese athlete’s shining moment came in the third round when he secured a takedown of Delfino, took his foe’s back, and sunk in a bout-ending rear-naked choke.

  • Mauro Cerilli defeats Abdulbasir Vagabov via TKO at 0:36 of round two (mixed martial arts – heavyweight)

  • Daichi Takenaka defeats Ivanildo Delfino via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:55 of round three (mixed martial arts – flyweight)

  • Kwon Won Il defeats Chen Rui via TKO at 0:31 of round three (mixed martial arts – bantamweight)

  • Beybulat Isaev defeats Mihajlo Kecojevic via knockout at 1:22 of round one (ONE Super Series kickboxing – light heavyweight)

Catch the final installment of the UNBREAKABLE series by tuning into the previously recorded ONE: UNBREAKABLE III on Friday, 5 February, on the ONE Super App.
