Bermaz Auto Philippines (BAP)–the exclusive distributor of Mazda vehicles in the country–and the Autohub Group of Companies has further solidified its partnership after opening the first ever Mazda dealership in Manila.
Last April 27, the Autohub Group of Companies launched the Mazda Otis led by its President Willy Tee Ten. The ribbon cutting ceremony was spearheaded by BAP president and CEO Steven Tan.
The new Mazda dealership is located at President Quirino Avenue Extension in Paco, Manila–ready to cater to customers with its able Sales and Aftersales Service. The establishment previously housed Autohub’s other business ventures such as V-Kool and Piaggio.
According to Tan, the Mazda Otis dealership will feature the same Mazda experience, dealer-customer satisfaction, same vehicle technology and other features that all other Mazda dealerships extend to its clients.
Two of the well-known titans in the automotive industry, BAP and Autohub started their business partnership in 2015.
During the launch, Tan said that Tee Ten has been a friend for more than a decade and was there when the latter opened the Mazda Davao dealership. “Willie has been a partner of Mazda since 2015 with the opening of Mazda Davao and in Cagayan de Oro. But he has been a friend around 10 years already,” he told Carmudi Philippines.
He also said that the Mazda Otis is one of the fastest transactions in putting up the dealership as it only took less than a year to be established. “We began our talks nine months ago and now, we are launching it,” Tan added.
Tan revealed that aside from the newly-launched Mazda Otis dealership, Autohub and BAP are also opening new dealerships in General Santos and Butuan, which are currently under construction.
“GenSan and Butuan dealership are opening in Q3 (third quarter) this year. Currently under construction now,” he shared.
Further, he congratulated Tee Ten on opening the dealership, adding that he is proud to be the group’s “business partner and friend.”
During the launch, Tee Ten said that with the expansion program that they made, they are “ready to serve the market of this prosperous city.”
He also said that Metro Manila is very close to his heart since he was a product of Manila. “I was born and raised in Manila. It has always been my dream to give back to where it all began,” he said.
To highlight its arrival in Manila, Autohub and BAP launched the #MazdaMeetsManila Campaign, wherein they feature the MX-5 driven on Manila’s historic and scenic spots and landmarks.
