MCA is a party with no stand and integrity

BALAKONG: MCA today has been described as a party with no stand, integrity and devoid of political ideology and solely out to win votes.

Seri Kembangan state assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah said this is due to its partnership with Pas, a party which MCA once opposed.

"The situation shows MCA has no principles and desperate as the party has once again supported Pas to make Malaysia a theocratic

country.

"MCA has forgotten what it said before thus making it a party which no longer represents the Chinese community."

"MCA has to explain its partnership with Pas. Does it mean MCA supports Pas ideology to set up an Islamic nation?

Is MCA still part of Barisan Nasional as it supports corruption and the 1Malaysia Development Bhd scandal?"

Ean was speaking at Pakatan Harapan's operations center at the Balakong by-election. Also present was PH candidate Wong Siew Ki.

MCA vice president Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun said yesterday the partnership between MCA and PAS is the third opposition bloc.

PAS secretary general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan also gave a speech on the MCA platform last night to support MCA Balakong candidate Tan Chee Teong. © New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd
