Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have found a new place to call home! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex bought a home in the coastal city of Santa Barbara, which is just a few hours outside of Los Angeles, where Meghan's mother Doria Ragland lives.

The royals moved into their new home with their son Archie in July, according to People magazine. "They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that this will be respected for their neighbors, as well as for them as a family," a rep for the couple told People.

"This is the first home either of them has ever owned," a source told Page Six. Since they've moved in, the royal family has had complete privacy, the source added. "They intend to put down their roots in this house and the quiet community, which has considerable privacy. This is where they want to bring Archie up, where they hope he can have as normal a life as possible."

After announcing they wanted to step back from their "senior" roles in the royal family, Meghan and Harry spent some time in Vancouver, Canada. Prior to moving to Santa Barbara, they were temporarily living in Tyler Perry's Beverly Hills mansion in Los Angeles, Meghan's hometown. In a lawsuit filed to “protect their young son’s right to privacy in their home," the couple claims that drones had been used to take photos of Archie at their temporary Los Angeles home. Here's hoping they find privacy and happiness in the new house!
