Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
As the Invictus Games enter their fifth day in Düsseldorf, Germany, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat courtside at the Ukraine-Nigeria Mixed Team sitting volleyball competition, and continued to offer plenty of style inspiration.
After meeting with NATO representatives this morning in a tan L'Agence silk Dani blouse and Gabriela Hearst trousers, Meghan Markle changed into a more casual, all-white outfit: a Ralph Lauren cable-knit sweater vest and Frame skinny ankle-cut jeans. (That antiquated "no white after Labor Day" rule simply doesn't apply to the Duchess.)
Markle pulled her hair back into a loose pony and accessorized only with a few gold bracelets on her wrist. Paired with black flats (and carrying a striped sweater, just in case she catches a chill), she effortlessly exuded elegance in one of the biggest Spring 2024 runway trends we spotted at New York Fashion Week.
