Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and their 1-year-old son, Archie, made their big move to Los Angeles just as the pandemic hit the U.S. this year, and they moved to a $14.7 million home in Montecito earlier this summer. Per Entertainment Tonight, the couple hasn't been totally without some community in L.A., even while they isolate during the pandemic.

Before they moved into their new home, Harry and Meghan were living in Tyler Perry's Beverly Hills mansion, which is not far from Adele's place in the area. Omid Scobie, royal reporter and author of Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, told ET that it's not unlikely that Meghan and Adele have been in touch since Meghan's move. Scobie said they "know each other pretty well" and "have a history."

"They first met when Meghan was supporting the Grenfell fire tragedy victims in London when she was working with the Hubb Community Kitchen to launch the cookbook," he said, referring to Meghan's cookbook, which supports the Grenfell victims. "Adele was actually a regular visitor through the Hubb Community Kitchen, and they really got to know each other through philanthropy. I'm sure we'll see them collaborating in the future."

Scobie added that while the move during a pandemic has been challenging for Meghan and Harry, they are surrounded by some people they already know.

"Of course, they're living very close to Oprah [Winfrey], a dear confidante of the couple and also a friend of [Meghan's mother,] Doria [Ragland]," Scobie said. "David Foster, the Canadian music producer and composer, has become a very close confidante [to Harry] and [become] someone he can really lean on for business advice and other matters. In fact, from sources, I hear they speak very regularly."

It's never a bad thing to have Oprah Winfrey on your side.

Meanwhile, in an interview with The 19th's cofounder Emily Ramshaw, Meghan said that she's glad she's back home in L.A, especially during the fight for racial justice in America.

"From my standpoint, it’s not new to see this undercurrent of racism and certainly unconscious bias, but I think to see the changes that are being made right now is really—it's something that I look forward to being a part of,” Meghan said. "And being part of using my voice in a way that I haven’t been able to of late. So, yeah, it’s good to be home.”
