Take our advice and even Marie Kondo will look at your house and be, like, 'Dang, that's organized!' (Photo: mDesign)
As an interior designer, I offer organization as one of my services. There's one key ingredient I always make sure is incorporated into my designs: storage, storage, storage. Organization is supremely important to the functional part of design. Without that, all your pretty furnishings can get lost amid everyday household clutter. Spring is the time for regeneration, and that means it's time to purge and get organized. How great, then, that Amazon is having some epic sales on a slew of decluttering products in honor of Memorial Day? Take advantage of these savings and (literally) get your house in order. I assure you, it's supremely satisfying.

Save 34% on these go-anywhere, store-anything containers. This is the 44-quart variety, but they come in a variety of quantities as well as a 78-quart version. The beauty of these? Creating this list every month for spring cleaning at markets and hawker centres has turned into a monthly ritual for me. But hey, it’s worth it! It prevents our parents (mine included) from making a pointless trip to a market that’s closed. Even us food writers rely on this list, just in case our featured […] The post Don’t go to these markets & hawker centres scheduled for spring cleaning in October 2023 appeared first on SETHLUI.com.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is concerned after his side suffered their worst start to a Premier League season with the 1-0 home loss to Crystal Palace. Not since the 1989/90 campaign, when Sir Alex Ferguson was reportedly one game away from the sack, have United lost four of their first seven league games. It had looked like United were turning their season around after a Carabao Cup win over the same opponents on Tuesday followed victory at Burnley last weekend, but the pressure is beginning to mount on Ten Hag.

I’ve rarely come across Japanese establishments at HDB neighbourhoods till my editor, Pavin and I happened to spot one during our recent adventure to Bedok. Located along Bedok South, Izumi Japanese Restaurant is an 8-year-old Japanese spot with just 5 tables which can accommodate 18 people. As we entered the petite eatery, the first thing that […] The post Izumi Japanese Restaurant: Affordable Japanese eatery serving mentaiko takoyaki & $9.90 lunch sets with 2 sides at Bedok appeared first on S

Indonesia is launching Southeast Asia’s first high-speed railway, a key project under China’s Belt and Road infrastructure initiative that will cut travel time between the capital and another major city from the current three hours to about 40 minutes. The project has been beset with delays and increasing costs, and some observers doubt its commercial benefit, but President Joko Widodo has championed it and will be inaugurating the 142.3-kilometer (88.4-mile) railway as it begins commercial operations Monday. The Chinese-made bullet train, called “Whoosh,” will connect Jakarta with Bandung, the heavily populated capital of West Java province.
Ukrainian tank crews in the eastern front see the first delivery of U.S. Abrams tanks to Kyiv as a boost that will offer them more protection and firepower in battle. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Monday that Ukraine had taken delivery of its first shipment of U.S. jet-powered Abrams tanks to help in the defence against Russia's invasion. Mark Milley, the top U.S. general, has said he regards M1 Abrams tanks as the world's best and that they "will make a difference" in the 19-month-old war.
