We are quite sure that diesel engine-loving country like the Philippines will be thrilled with the new offering as the the G-Class is a model famous for its off-road capabilities.
The new Mercedes-Benz G 350 d is powered by an in-line six-cylinder diesel engine which can deliver 286 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The engine is said to be paired with efficient emissions reduction systems fitted directly to the engine to improve the effectiveness of the catalytic converter and the diesel particulate filter.
The engine is then mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission with torque converter designed to shorten response times of the nine-speed transmission and make the G-Class's responsiveness even livelier. The gear ratio also makes the G-350 d more comfortable at low engine revs, making it quieter and more fuel efficient.
But the Mercedes-Benz G 350 d is not just about power—it's about sophistication as well, perfectly exuding class and ruggedness. Wearing metallic paintwork and front illuminated door sill panels and sitting on 19-inch 5-twin spoke light alloy wheels, the G 350 does not fall short on aesthetics.
For its interiors, the Mercedes-Benz G 350 d has a myriad of technological features, starting with KEYLESS-GO function and a widescreen cockpit resolution display with 12.3inch screen diagonal for instrument displays.
Occupants can further enjoy rolling on the streets, thanks to its posh leather seats, leather grab handles for front passengers, an automatic dimming interior mirror and ambient lighting in 64 colors and 10 color schemes.
Since the G-Class is widely-known for its driving characteristics and off-road capabilities for around four decades already, it also has the DYNAMIC SELECT with up to five drive modes, which is a standard for the G-Class so that its characteristics can be adjusted at the touch of a button.
Further, the Mercedes-Benz G 350 d offers a host of driver assistance systems such as Adaptive Brake Lights and Active Braking Assist.
The new G 350 d is available at any Mercedes-Benz showroom—from Edsa Greenhills, the newly-opened Bonifacio Global City, Alabang or Cebu City—for viewing and has a price tag of P10.89 million.
