Michael Lai clarifies clip socialising with other women
12 Nov – Gillian Chung's husband Michael Lai has recently clarified yet another rumour alleging that he is cheating on his wife.
The Taiwanese doctor sparked another philandering allegation recently when a woman uploaded a series of Instagram Stories of her and another woman dining with Michael.
The clip sparked anger among netizens, especially after Gillian earlier stated that Michael has been too busy with work to go to an IVF appointment with her.
One netizen accused him of having time to socialise with other women, but none to have children with his wife.
Speaking to Apple Daily, Michael explained that the woman who uploaded the clip was socialite Janet Yang, adding that Gillian also knew the other woman who was at the restaurant with them.
As for their baby-making plans, Michael said that he has to return to Hong Kong and get a medical check-up to do so. He assured that the two of them will spend time together as soon as their schedules are cleared up.
