Miley Cyrus ‘not engaged’

Miley Cyrus is not set to walk down the aisle despite recent reports.

The 19-year-old Hannah Montana star has been parading around with a large diamond ring on her wedding finger over the past few days leading to speculation she is engaged to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

But Us Weekly claims that the teen star will not be saying “I do” any time soon, according to an insider close to the couple.

The pair were out on Saturday night at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XIII event in Arizona where she showed off the sparkler.

Last Thursday she tweeted a picture of her newly manicured fingers which kicked off the rumours because the ring, which has a large round stone, was very prominent in the image.

“I am soooo obsessed with @jennahipp nail foundations! It looks so chick and classic!” she wrote under the picture.

Liam is enjoying tremendous success with his movie The Hunger Games which reached the top of the US box office this weekend and is now the third most successful film opening of all time.

Miley and Liam got together after starring in the 2009 film The Last Song. She was the most famous out of the two of them at the time but that is set to change.

They split for a while in August 2010 but then got back together a few months later.

Driving a $900,000 Porsche 918 Spyder to the future

It’s more than just its inherent speed, or the whooshing noise that fills the cabin like a school choir jamming with James Hetfield. It’s what it represents in an industry full of skeptics. It’s a portal into the future – a time capsule left by some mad scientist born decades too soon. It’s something that shouldn’t exist. And yet it does.

Arrest warrant sought for S. Korea ferry captain

South Korean prosecutors sought arrest warrants Friday for the captain and two crew members of the ferry that capsized two days before with hundreds of children on board, a coastguard official said. The captain and most of his 28 crew managed to escape the ferry, and have been criticised for abandoning the ship when so many were still trapped on board. Tracking data from the Maritime Ministry showed the ferry made a sharp turn just before sending its first distress signal on Wednesday morning. Prosecutors said Friday that preliminary investigations showed that captain Lee Joon-Seok had handed the helm to his third officer before the ferry capsized.
