Military ‘getting to grips’ with bullying and misogyny, says chief of defence staff

Chief of the Defence staff, Sir Tony Radakin, has insisted that the military is “getting to grips” with bullying and misogyny.

Appearing on Sky News with Trevor Phillips this morning (10 November), Radakin admitted a number of “ugly stories” will come to light about things that have happened in the past.

“It’s difficult for all of us, but we’re clear that we will support the people who in the past may have felt that they didn’t have the confidence to make some of those complaints”, he said.
