Missing Inuk man last seen in Polo Park area Wednesday: Winnipeg police

The Winnipeg Police Service is asking for the public's help finding a missing 24-year-old, who they say is unfamiliar with the city.

Johnny Arragutainaq, 24, was last seen in the Polo Park Area July 3, police said in a news release Saturday. He has not been heard from or seen since, according to the release. 

Members of Arragutainaq's family confirmed he was visiting Winnipeg from Sanikiluak, Nunavut.

Arragutainaq is described as five feet, two inches tall with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, grey pants and green sandals, the release said.

Police said in the release they're concerned for Arragutainaq's well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding the 24-year-old's whereabouts to contact the missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
