Model recreates Hilary Duff's nude magazine cover as a size 14: 'You're slaying'

Julia Berit is taking body confidence to the next level.

The plus size model took to Instagram on Sunday to share a video featuring her recreated Women's Health cover, which mimicked Hilary Duff's nude shot taken for its May/June 2022 issue.

The video first showed a screenshot of Duff's original cover before a side-by-side comparison with Berit's version. The clip also featured on-screen text, saying, "I recreated Hilary Duff's Women's Health cover as a size 14 .. and look what I made! I love it so much."

In the caption, the model wrote a heartfelt message that encouraged her fans to "celebrate" their natural bodies.

"Hopefully the OG [original] will be back up soon, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you soooo for all of the love on this project," she captioned the post. "There is no before and after or comparison happening here, just the celebration of different bodies being exactly as they are!"

Fans were quick to weigh in on the video and praised Berit for her "important" and "body positive" message.

"Love this! You are gorgeous and we love the representation," commented a fan. "Makes me feel a bit better about my natural body."

"You're slaying and looking gorgeous, glowy and amazing! As a size 14 myself, I want more body positive photoshoots like this out into the world," said another.

"I'm shook. This is so beautiful and important," someone else wrote. "As a curvy queen you have killed this, and I love what you said in the caption."

"You're showing what real women look like, and for that, I thank you," added another. "Let's celebrate all bodies."

On Tuesday, Hilary Duff herself reposted the video with the text, "Looking like a queen, boo."
