Molly Marsh has broken her silence on the alleged feud between herself and the other Love Island finalists.
The musical theatre performer, 21, came fourth place in the 10th series of the ITV2 dating show alongside partner Zachariah Noble, 25.
Since leaving the villa however, the couple have faced ongoing rumours of feuds with various islanders, with Kady McDermott claiming Marsh didn’t speak to the other girls in the villa when they weren’t filming.
Appearing on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Marsh finally addressed the chatter.
She said: “I knew it would be difficult because at home I don’t have a group of girlfriends so I knew going into it I would struggle.
“When I got there I settled and got along, I didn’t have that one friend I just got along. I would take myself off to the pool and try and sunbathe, have a breather. Think about the outside world. If I didn’t do that I would have lost it.”
Host Amanda Nicole Hirsch asked: “Would the others ask why don’t you hang out with us more?”
She replied: “Yes, but then they got to know that was just me.”
Probing deeper, Hirsch then asked: “So you’re not bothered that Jess, Ella, Catherine and Whitney are all BFFs and have a group chat without you? You don’t feel left out?”
Marsh replied: “No. I kind of expected that, I expected that, it is what it is. It’s probably best I’m not there. No, I expected that.
“I didn’t really open up to them as much as they wanted me to but at the beginning I didn’t want to overshare my feelings, I kept them to myself to make sure I was ok. I didn’t want people to talk about me.”
