Imphal (Manipur), Aug 30 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Railways, Coal and Mines, Raosaheb Patil Danve along with the officials of the North East Frontier Railway (NEFR) inspected the construction site of Imphal-Jiribam railway tunnel no. 12 located in Kangpokpi District on August 30. The tunnel no.12 is one of the longest tunnels in the entire North-East covering a distance of 10.28 km. The NEFR of the Indian Railways has been substantial in bringing major changes in the region in terms of railway connectivity. MoS Danve also assured that the ongoing project will be completed by 2023.
