A motorist crashes a £200,000 supercar within minutes of its delivery.

Neighbours watched as the man took ownership of the McLaren 650S Spider at his home in Hutton, Essex.

But minutes later the car was wrecked after crashing into a tree on a nearby road.

The front of the car was destroyed after it went into a tree and the rear was damaged by a sign post.

No one was injured in last Wednesday’s collision.

Police have asked for information from anyone who may have seen the car being driven before the crash.

The McLaren 650S Spider can cost more than £215,000 brand new and has a top speed of 204mph.

Police want to trace a woman who approached the driver and passenger immediately after the crash to see if they were injured to help with their enquiries.
