MRCB Land Celebrates Customers With Carnival Fun-Tasia 2019
MRCB Land organised a Carnival Fun-Tasia event in honour of its customers, where it welcomed more than 1,000 visitors to the two-day carnival celebration at its newly completed an award-winning mixed-use development, VIVO Residences and SOHO at 9 Seputeh.
The event kicked off with Raymond Cheah, Chief Executive Officer of MRCB Land delivering a welcoming speech and subsequently officiated the carnival. He thanked the customers for supporting the company and inspiring it to propel even further.
Raymond Cheah said, “Carnival Fun-Tasia is organised as part of our customer engagement initiative, in conjunction with the completion of VIVO Residences and SOHO. It is our way to express our gratitude as well as a great opportunity for us to bond and engage with our customers. Very soon, we will be opening VIVO Signature Retail. These are the components of 9 Seputeh’s Phase 1 development.”

He added, “We take great pride in 9 Seputeh. Towering into the skyline of timeless Old Klang Road, the elegant 9 Seputeh is set to raise the bar as the epicentre of renewed vibrancy and excitement to the vicinity.
The 1.7km Old Klang Road-New Pantai Expressway Elevated Link Bridge (OKR-NPE Link Bridge) located within 9 Seputeh, launched recently by the Minister of Primary Industries of Malaysia cum Member of Parliament for Seputeh, YB Teresa Kok, will enhance connectivity to the primary road networks for communities of Pantai Dalam, Kampung Kerinchi, Taman Bukit Angkasa, PPR Sri Pantai and so on. It also acts as an alternative route for those heading from Old Klang Road to Bangsar, Petaling Jaya, Klang and Subang.
The key highlight of the day was the unveiling of the MRCB Land VIP Customer Loyalty Programme which rewards property owners a loyalty membership that comes with exclusive privileges. Special treats such as retail discounts, promotions on property and exclusive event invitations await the VIP members. During the launch of the loyalty programme, Raymond Cheah reiterated the importance of support and trust built around the long-term relationships between MRCB Land and its customers.

It was a proud moment for MRCB Land as it soft-launched one of the key attractions of 9 Seputeh, a three-acre beautifully-landscaped Promenade Boulevard that comes equipped with modern park facilities. The Promenade Boulevard is built with the aim to foster good communities and promote healthy living. There will be continuous enhancement and improvement to the Promenade Boulevard, which will be done in phases. Phase 2 of the enhancement will see the assembles of local F&B kiosks, bazaars, local artists and performers to make 9 Seputeh particularly, VIVO Signature Retail the next must-visit destination.
The opening gambit of the carnival featured local artists, donned in extravagant costumes delivering energetic and extraordinary performances. The two-day event was full of happy children having a great day out as they tried different games such as Skee Ball, Snooke Ball, Tic Tac Toe, Balloon Dart, etc. They were thrilled when they could turn in their coupons for a variety of prizes that had something for all ages and ability levels. The illusionist Meteor’s show was thrilling and the flavoured cotton candy stick was a big hit for the young children. They also had the opportunity to enjoy themselves with complimentary rides of the Beam e-scooters, which enabled them to explore the Promenade Boulevard.
Visitors were mesmerised with a monumental display of a masterpiece at the carnival which was the 12-feet Giant Elephant Coin Bank. Interestingly, it is listed in the Malaysia’s Book of Records as the largest Animal Coin Bank. It was placed there to raise funds and the collection will be channelled to the needy through Yayasan MRCB. The foundation will match every ringgit that is raised. Many generously donated to the Coin Bank during the two-day carnival.
Yayasan MRCB is the philanthropic and corporate responsibility arm of MRCB. Founded in 2015, the foundation focuses on assisting underprivileged students and communities in need in the areas of education, enhancement of skills and empowerment programme for the special needs school. It strives to implement programmes to improve the quality of life of those it assists and to extend the light of hope towards building better lives.
The Carnival Fun-Tasia was a success that gave a good time to all. With free admission, the carnival brought the people together through family-friendly entertainment, fun-filled activities and music while attracting the visitors to better understand the 9 Seputeh development.
