Museum to Ukrainian philosopher Grigory Skovoroda in ruins after Russian strike
The philosopher Grigory Skovoroda's writings form part of the shared cultural heritage of modern-day Ukraine and Russia alike. Now his museum in the village of Skovorodinovka, in southern Ukraine, lies in ruins being struck by a Russian missile. The museum's director, whose son was nearly killed in the blast, saw nearly 30 years of her life go up in flames: "this is unbearable".
