Myanmar’s job portal MyJobs.com.mm has been acquired by Ringier AG

Switzerland’s Ringier AG buys the Burmese online classified job portal under Pyramid Solutions Co Ltd, MyJobs.com.mm

Ringier AG, a media, e-commerce and entertainment platforms from Switzerland with presence in Myanmar and Vietnam announced that it has acquired Myanmar’s online classified job platform, MyJobs.com.mm. The process is made in cooperation with the company’s local partner Information Matrix Co. Ltd, as reported by Deal Street Asia.

“We plan to further strengthen Ringier’s footprint in digital publishing and marketplaces in Asia and to shape Ringier to a well-digitizedRbin media company,” said Robin Lingg, head of international marketplaces, Ringier AG.

As a local job portal, the company that was founded in 2012 has obtained 4,300 active listings. It claims to have nearly 1.9 million followers on social media.

Before MyJobs.com.mm’s acquisition, another online job platform from the country, JobNet.com, raised a seven-digit dollar sum earlier this year.

MyJobs.com.mm joins other existing portfolios of Ringier AG in Myanmar such as Duwun.com.mm, Marry.com.mm, and Kalay.com.mm.
