For several months last year, the residents of Blk 1C, Pinnacle@Duxton were plagued by an unusual problem: pools of vomit in the common area and the car park.

As many as three or four times a week, the serial vomiter or vomiters would hurl at random places, leaving residents reeling from the stench.

Johnson Ng, 40, works in the gaming industry on rotational shifts. He told Yahoo News Singapore that he would often see piles of vomit in the common area and car park when he returned home from work at around 6am.

“It took a few days before the cleaner cleaned it up. The smell was quite gross,” said Ng.

In response to a resident’s complaint, Tanjong Pagar Town Council put up a poster a few months back as “an educational tool to deter anti-social behaviour as well as to seek residents’ assistance to identify the culprit,” said a Town Council spokesman.

“The vomiting issue has since stopped,” said the spokesman.
