Na Ying criticises Zhang Ziyi

2 Apr – Chinese songstress Na Ying recently criticised the production of "The X-Factor: China's Strongest Voice" decision on electing actress Zhang Ziyi to be on their judging panel.

According to Groove Asia, at a recent event, the singer, who has been re-appointed as a judge for the second season for the popular reality singing competition "The Voice Of China", voiced out her opinion that the actress lacked the credibility as a singing mentor to be one of the judges.

Ever since appearing on "The X-Factor" as a judge, Ziyi has been slammed numerous times for her comments on the show.

To this, Na Ying stated, "Ziyi could only offer opinions on styles as she is totally incapable of nurturing singing talents. I could not understand why she was picked for a music programme."

However, the 45-year-old songbird added, "I can only say that I'll give her my blessings."

Meanwhile, Na Ying also revealed that herr good friend, Chinese diva Faye Wong, will be making an appearance on "The Voice Of China" but declined to reveal more information about the singer's upcoming appearance.
