Nacho Figueras is the latest star to throw his name into the fragrance hat.
The Argentinian polo player and model is launching his own line of scents at Bergdorf Goodman, WWD reports. Dubbed the ‘Ignacio Figueras Collection,' the six-scent series will go on sale on December 11.
Figueras teamed with master perfumer Carlos Benaim to create the fragrances, which are named after the polo destinations of Buenos Aires, Palm Beach, Aspen, Windsor, England, Jaipur and Dubai. The sporting theme is continued via the bottle design, which features a horseshoe in various colorways.
"I wanted to tell my own story, starting with the things I care about the most -- family, travel through polo and charity," Figueras, who has been fronting fragrance campaigns for Ralph Lauren since 2008, told WWD. The fragrances will see a portion of the sales proceeds donated to the charity Sentebale.
It seems hardly a day goes by without the launch of a new celebrity fragrance -- in dipping his toe into the business, Figueras joins the ranks of fellow stars such as Nick Jonas, who has launched two fragrances this year, and football legend Neymar Jr. who hooked up with Diesel in May to launch the scent ‘Spirit of the Brave.'
