KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak today took a swipe at Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz over the privatisation of 40,000ha of land belonging to the Defence Ministry and Armed Forces.

The former prime minister in his Facebook post said Rafidah could check the land title to confirm her allegation.

“It does not take half a day to do this,” he said and questioned why it had taken three months for the Federal Government to confirm the allegation.

Najib said he had the right to speak out in the defence of himself and his party to counter slanderous statements by certain parties who wish to seize power.

“I know her accusations are completely untrue,” he said.

In April, the former international trade and industry minister had alleged that 40,000ha of land were privatised to a company owned by three individuals.

She claimed that a Cabinet paper supported her allegations. © New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd
