National Fast Food Day is an unofficial holiday observed annually on 16 November. The purpose of this holiday is self-explanatory – to celebrate the love of fast food!

To observe this day, we checked in with colleagues and friends to ask them to wax lyrical about their favourite fast food restaurants in Singapore.

Let's dive in!

Our editorial team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the products and deals we love. If you love them too and decide to purchase through a link below, we may receive a commission.

Burger King

"It's gotta be Burger King – and specifically, the BK in the mall near my place, as others don't quite put as much love into it. For me, BK's hearty and smoky "flame grilled' Whopper just does it for me when I crave beef." – Bob, your regular foodie.

As part of the National Fast Food Day celebrations, Deliveroo has partnered with Popeyes, Krispy Kreme and Burger King for an exclusive fast food tattoo sheet to go with selected orders from today onwards, while stocks last!

Selected meals from these outlets on Deliveroo as follow:

  • Whopper Meal ($10.90) on Deliveroo from Burger King Toa Payoh

  • 3pc Chicken Combo ($13.50) on Deliveroo from Popeyes Waterway Point

  • Premium Varieties box of 6 ($19.80) on Deliveroo from Krispy Kreme outlets, VivoCity and Great World City

Italian Osteria X

"A hole in the wall in the old Crawford HDB estate in Lavender, Italian Osteria is a one-man show who sells one of the best parma and rocket pizzas at only $19.90. Generous slices of parma ham, fresh rocket on top of proper fermented dough that's grilled to a crisp in a 400 degree oven – it just doesn't get any better than that." – Lionel Suresh, Business Owner

Ordinary Burger

"Ordinary Burgers has high-key underrated burgers! I cannot talk about them enough. I just wish they have seated outlets instead of dabao kiosks." – Bruce Lim, Video Producer

Popeyes

"Popeyes' mashed potato got me through studying for the 'O' Levels a very long time ago, and I'll always hold a tender spot in my heart for this particular fast food chain. The cajun fries and fried chicken tenders are to me, the best comfort fast food." – Stephanie Zheng, Lifestyle editor.

Texas Chicken

"My absolute favourite fast food has gotta be Texas Chicken. Have you seen bigger thighs anywhere else? Nope! Biting on its crispy exterior adds to that tasty messiness that comes with eating sinful junk food. But oh, that juicy and tender meat within is unmatched by any other fast food joints IMHO. As someone with a huge appetite, I don't feel full eating the standard set combo meals from other FF joints but Texas Chicken gets a thumbs-up for filling my tummy up every time!" - Cadence Loh, Lifestyle Editor

Wingstop

"Wingstop's Boneless Wings in Kicap Manis and Louisiana Rub is my go-to fast food. They've got pretty much the most flavourful and interesting fried chicken flavours around." – Dominic Ng, Tech Producer
