Philadelphia 76ers guard Danny Green will miss much more time than the remainder of Thursday's Game 6.
The veteran guard was diagnosed with a torn ACL on Friday, putting his next season in extreme jeopardy.

The injury occurred early in the first quarter Thursday against the Miami Heat, when Sixers star Joel Embiid crashed into Green's leg while lunging to make a layup. Green fell, tried to get up, then collapsed to the floor in clear pain.
Green had to be carried to the locker room and the Sixers soon announced he would not be returning to the game.
The game ended with the Sixers eliminated in six games by the top-seeded Heat.
Green started in all 12 of the Sixers' playoff games, averaging 9.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 28.7 minutes per game while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range. He remains under contract for the Sixers next season with a base salary of $10 million, but he now figures to miss most, if not all of next season due to the injury.
The 3-and-D specialist joined the Sixers last season via a series of two trades with the Los Angeles Lakers, with whom he won a ring in 2020. After a successful 2020-21 season, he re-upped with Philadelphia on a two-year, $20 million last offseason.
