‘This Is Us’ Season 5 Is Coming to NBC Sooner Than Expected

We have good news for fans who thought they had to wait until November to watch This Is Us season five.

NBC just moved up the premiere date for the upcoming season of This Is Us—although it was supposed to air on November 10, the first episode will now be released on October 27. (The two-hour installment will be broadcast at 9 p.m., so we highly recommend you set your DVRs.)

Unfortunately, the network hasn’t shared very many details about the new season, but it’ll feature the same cast—including Mandy Moore (Rebecca), Milo Ventimiglia (Jack), Chrissy Metz (Kate) and Sterling K. Brown (Randall).

Series creator Dan Fogelman also confirmed that the episodes will tackle the coronavirus pandemic in the present-day story line. “Yes on COVID,” he wrote on Twitter. “We’ve decided to attack things head on. Very proud of @ThisIsUsWriters.”
