Neelofa brushes away rumours
15 Nov – After winning the competition for "Dewi Remaja 2011", this young Malaysian beauty of 22 did not wait very long to make a name for herself in her homeland. Although she has been tied to a few romantic controversies on-set, Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor prefers to talk about her career as opposed to meaningless gossip.
However, this is an impossible feat because many are eager to know who she is currently romancing. It has been said that she was the cause of actor Shah Jaszle and Maria Farida's breakup.
Now, Neelofa, or Lofa as she prefers to be called, and Hans Isaac are said to be madly in love.
"There's actually no special relationship between us besides being colleagues. Hans and I are working together for Dr. Hatta Azad Khan's latest film, "Lemak Kampung Santan" and if anyone saw us being friendly, we are only trying to build chemistry for our characters."
"We had many discussions about how to make our relationship look authentic in the film, so maybe that's why people misunderstood," explained Lofa, who is currently working to obtain her double Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Marketing.
When asked about her ideal man, Lofa feels that there is no specific requirement that 'he' has to fulfil as long as 'he' understands about her career as an artiste.
"I'm still young and if possible, I would like to think about love later. I just aim to get married with a family by the age of 28. However, there is definitely no one in mind yet," Lofa explained.
Lofa, who admitted that she is always tied up to handsome guys, also confessed that she is still single and she does not take offense with all the rumours about her because it is the price that comes with being an artiste.
The young starlet is currently busy with promotional events for her latest film, "Azura 2012", which begins on 1 December. The Aziz M. Osman-directed film is expected to be in cinemas on 2 February 2012 in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
