Man made neighbours' lives 'a misery' by blaring James Blunt songs into the night
A James Blunt fan made his neighbours' lives a "misery" by blasting out the singer's back catalogue at full blast, day and night.
Mark Carey played hits by Blunt - which include You're Beautiful, 1973 and Unstoppable - causing residents to lose sleep and suffer from stress, fatigue and anxiety.
Residents near Carey's home in Plymouth, Devon, said they received abuse when they approached him about the issue.
His case was heard at Plymouth Magistrates Court on Monday.
Carey, who did not attend court, has been ordered to pay more than £1,400 in compensation to one neighbour.
Environmental Health Officers obtained a warrant and then seized three TVs, speakers and other music equipment from Carey's home - all of which has been permanently forfeited - after receiving multiple complaints about loud music.

Magistrates found him guilty of breaching a Community Protection Notice and fined him £660.
They also ordered him to pay costs of £699.70 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Councillor John Riley, Cabinet member for Community Safety, said: "Everyone has the right to live quietly in their own home, which is why we will not hesitate to bring prosecutions against people who try and take that right away from their neighbours.
"I hope now that the defendant’s neighbours will finally have some peace."
