Neighbours' Nicolette Stone faces rejection as she asks out Chloe Brennan

Neighbours newcomer Nicolette Stone will ask out Chloe Brennan, only to learn that Chloe is married.
This week's episodes sees Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) and Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) meeting each other for the first time, with Nicolette developing feelings for Chloe. Their second meeting takes place in scenes airing next week, as they bump into each other.
Nicolette continues to be charmed by Chloe, and takes the opportunity to ask Chloe out.
Chloe, married to Pierce Greyson, gently rejects Nicolette and tells her that her ring is being cleaned.
Pierce (Tim Robards) eventually arrives, and Nicolette is embarrassed, having assumed that Chloe was married to a woman. Nicolette abruptly leaves, although she is recognised by Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).
A couple of days later, Nicolette and Chloe both rush to help Emmett Donaldson, after he is involved in an accident. In the aftermath, Chloe thanks Nicolette and says that if she wants, Nicolette could open up about the strained relationship she has with her mother Jane Harris (Annie Jones), who struggled to accept Nicolette when she came out.
Nicolette is grateful, and a friendship between them looks to be blossoming.

Nicolette – along with Jane and semi-regular character Clive Gibbons (Geoff Paine) – was added to the show's opening titles nearly two weeks ago in Australia.
Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 13 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
