Neighbours' Rose leaves Toadie with a dilemma as she breaks down

From Digital Spy

Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Neighbours lawyer Toadie Rebecchi starts to feel divided loyalties next week as he sees how much Rose Walker is struggling.

Toadie (Ryan Moloney) is currently being duped by Rose, who took on a job at his office in order to search for information on her estranged husband to help with her divorce case.

While Toadie is in the dark about this at the moment, this week's episodes see Hendrix Greyson reluctantly fill him in when Rose (Lucy Durack) starts to go too far with her deception.

As the repercussions continue to play out next week, Rose is in a worse state than ever. Having been fired by Toadie, she no longer has money coming in – and she has also seemingly lost her chance to gain the upper hand in the divorce case.

Toadie has little sympathy for Rose at first, knowing that he has to focus on what's best for her estranged husband James, who is paying him to fight his corner in the case.

However, when Toadie sees Rose's bank card get declined at The Waterhole, he takes pity on her and agrees to pay for her purchase. The full extent of Rose's troubles are later revealed when she explains that James has frozen all of her bank accounts.

Toadie kindly pulls some strings with Terese Willis to get Rose a job as a trainee beauty therapist at the hotel, wanting to help her get financially secure again.

The following day, Rose asks Toadie and Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) to be her first clients, partly as she wants them to give her some glowing reviews.

Things start off well, but Rose ends up making some painful mistakes that threaten her new job from the outset.

Despite the many mishaps, Toadie is warming to Rose and genuinely wants her to turn things around – but could he start to cross the line when it comes to his professional ethics and the ongoing legal case?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, September 8 and Friday, September 9 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
