Nepal Envoy to India hopes to receive more COVID vaccines under ‘Vaccine Maitri’

New Delhi, Sep 22 (ANI): Nepal Ambassador to India, Nilamber Acharya on September 22 expressed hope on ‘Vaccine Maitri’, an initiative by Indian Government to provide COVID-19 vaccines and said that it will give good results. “We had more vaccines and many countries also provided us. India gifted us 1 million COVID-19 vaccines for the very first time. Then, we purchased 2 million from SII, Pune. However, 1 million doses are still pending. We heard that with ‘Vaccine Maitri’, they’ll supply more vaccines. So, we are hopeful that vaccine cooperation with India will give good results,” said Nilamber Acharya to ANI.
