Produced in the Philippines, Eerie takes place at Sta. Lucia Academy, an all-girls Catholic school. The unexpected death of a student named Erika shakes the academy, and many students claim they're being haunted by Erika's ghost, leading the school's caring guidance counselor Patricia (Bea Alonzo) to set out on her own investigation. Will she confirm students' suspicions about the strict and borderline abusive Mother Alice (Charo Santos-Concio)? Will Mother Alice take Patricia down for her meddling? What is the "monster" that has been lurking in the shadows of the school?

The film originally premiered at Singapore International Film Festival in December 2018. It was released on Netflix in most countries in July, prompting reviews ranging from "screamed 3 times in 20 minutes" to "forced to sleep with the lights on."
