Netflix viewers are all praising new thriller series The Night Agent

In need of a good weekend watch? Well, according to Netflix viewers the show you need to be binge watching in the next few days is new thriller series The Night Agent.

The 10-part series is based on a novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk and sees a low level FBI agent, Peter Sutherland, working in the basement of The White House, manning a phone that never rings. Except one day it does.

Peter is soon plunged into a deep conspiracy about a Russian mole in the United States government and must protect CEO Rose Larkin, whilst also trying to save his country. Not too much responsibility then?

The Night Agent stars Gabriel Basso in the lead role as Peter Sutherland, with Luciane Buchanan starring as Rose Larkin. Other cast members include Fola Evans-Akingbola, Sarah Desjardins, Hong Chau, Phoenix Raei, Enrique Murciano, and D. B. Woodside.

The series only dropped on Netflix yesterday (23rd March) and yet viewers of the series are already praising it, with many saying it's one not to miss.

One person tweeted: "The Night Agent is a must watch, the best series to ever happen on Netflix in my opinion. I’m on episode two but I’m hooked!!!" High praise indeed!

Another said: "Just binged most of the The Night Agent episodes on Netflix. Old style spy thriller, but very well done. I'd call it a must-watch."

And another agreed, saying: "The Night Agent on Netflix is good af so far if anybody needs a new show to watch."

Right then, it's settled. We're cancelling all weekend plans and curling up on the sofa with popcorn and all 10 episodes of The Night Agent.
