Fans are not impressed with Rihanna's holiday-themed wax figure.

Madame Tussauds has been honouring and immortalizing famous actors and musicians for years, and often do their subjects justice. However, a recently updated wax model of Rihanna located in Berlin has people "very confused."

With the holidays underway, the 10-year-old figure's usual outfit was replaced with something a bit more festiv,e as well as a new haircut. Unfortunately, the update has most people in agreement that it doesn't quite resemble the "Umbrella" singer.

"Were they working from memory or...?" one Instagram user commented, while another added, "They did not understand the assignment."

"This literally looks nothing like her," one upset fan wrote. "Like, not even a little bit if you were wasted, squinting your eyes from a mile away. Truly embarrassing."

"I am very confused." another said. "Like, who would sign off on this?"

One person took to Twitter to call out the museum for ever displaying the figure in the first place.

"Whoever did the wax statue of Rihanna Should be ashamed, Furthermore, it should have never been placed in that museum, it looks nothing like her," they tweeted.

Rihanna's is not the first celebrity wax figure to earn a lacklustre response. Back in 2018, a wax version of Beyoncé located in Niagara Falls museum sparked backlash for having a much lighter complexion and inaccurate facial features.
