New Nexus phones may release September 29

Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Google may use a September 29 event in San Francisco to reveal two new Nexus smartphones.

CNET cites sources who say that the internet giant has an event in the works at which it will unveil two flagship smartphones -- one a smaller version of a Nexus phone made by LG, another a larger version from Huawei.

It is unknown how much the two phones might cost.

Nexus devices are generally used to show off the latest Android software, and they'll be the first to run Android 6.0 aka Marshmallow.
