Brazilian star Neymar has found his match in supermodel Gisele Bündchen, as they both posed for the latest cover of Vogue Brasil.
The pair have been placed in a commemorative edition for the World Cup in their home country as it draws closer.
Both Gisele and Neymar are household names for style and football in the country, and the editorials feature them posing with the Brazilian flag and matching white looks on one of the covers.
Elsewhere, former Liverpool, Leicester and England striker Emile Heskey married his fiancee, Chantelle Tagoe, in Cheshire last week.
Heskey, 36, who now turns out for A-League side Newcastle Jets, was pictured at a court signing marriage papers and later on, at a church, where the couple exchanged vows.
Afterwards, close family and friends gathered for the cake-cutting ceremony.
Heskey's bride Tagoe is a native of Liverpool and helped coach a wives-and-girlfriends football team for a charity match last year.
The striker played for England for more than 10 years, making 62 appearances in which he scored just seven goals.
In the same weekend, Heskey's former Birmingham City teammate, Jermaine Pennant, 31, also tied the knot with his glamour model girlfriend, Alice Goodwin, 28.
The couple were married at a private ceremony in Cheshire before hosting a party on Sunday night at a hotel in Manchester.
News of his decision to get married was met with surprise, particularly as Pennant has developed a "bad boy" reputation in England for his string of flings with models and actresses.
The winger's career has seen him play at Liverpool, Real Zaragoza and Stoke as well as on loan at Watford, Leeds and Portsmouth.
Pennant was also arrested in 2005 and 2012 for issues related to drink driving.
Meanwhile, current Liverpool player Martin Skrtel has been spotted enjoying himself in Miami with his wife
Barbora Lovasova, while his teammates prepare for the World Cup.
Skrtel's native country of Slovakia did not qualify for the tournament, which leaves him ample time to unwind after a long season with the Reds.
The couple were pictured on holiday with friends enjoying the warm weather, with the player keen to forget the heartbreak of slipping out of the title race at the last minute.
Miami was also the destination of choice for David Moyes, where he was spotted on the beach all by himself after being given the boot by Man United.
Skrtel enjoyed his most productive campaign in a Liverpool shirt this season, scoring seven goals in 36 Premier League games as the club finished two points adrift of champions Manchester City.
However, the centre-back was also prolific at the wrong end for the Reds as he broke the own goal record by a player in a single season by scoring his fourth in their 2-1 win over Newcastle on the final day.
